Thank You!

Now that Election Day 2008 is finally over and the results are in, I want to thank everyone who supported my campaign in so many ways.   From a faithful troop of volunteer walkers who gave up many weekends and evenings to go door to door talking about my race, to the “Sign Squad” responsible for placing those 4X8 signs across the 23rd District, to the hundreds of folks who contributed financially to my campaign, to those who wrote letters and made phone calls, everybody came together as a team to win this election.

Special thanks go to my hard working Treasurer, Steve Krumpelman, who oversaw the financial transactions accurately and efficiently.  Probably the most important group to whom I am especially grateful is the Prayer Support Team who consistently and regularly lifted up our campaign in prayer.

Finally, I want to thank my family, especially my wife Kelley, who is also my best friend, supporter and a classy lady who always has a knack for keeping me focused on who we are and what we stand for.  Kelley has put her life on hold for the last ten months being a candidate’s wife.  She is my inspiration.

I am truly humbled and honored that you have voted to return me to Frankfort for four more years, and I pledge to serve you with hard work and integrity.  Legislating is an awesome responsibility and one I take seriously.

God bless you and the Commonwealth of Kentucky!
